The Edgic Has Spoken

  So, last week we said farewell to my winner pick and disaster prince Andy, a truly heartbreaking and ironic turn of events even though we all knew he was going to go in the aftermath of Operation: Italy, but I don't think anyone expected him to go like THAT. Shooting himself in the foot while trying to earn respect, only to earn so much respect that it gets him idoled out? What an Andy way to go. So poetic. I could appreciate it through my tears.  We also lost ice queen Genevieve at 5th, which I also predicted, and it was sad to see her go, especially when I had just started to like her only a couple episodes before her departure...but such is the way things go on Survivor.  Now we're down to four, so let's take one last look at everyone's edits before the finale.  #1. Uh...what just happened.  First of all, phenomenal episode all around, one of the best of the new era. A true underdog moment, a ragtag team of 3 vs a stacked alliance of 4, and they somehow survived thanks to Andy's plan. And getting to see Andy finally get recognition and respect from the audience was...vindicating to say the least, considering how I clocked his mastermind potential from Episode 5, but I'm glad everyone else is seeing it now. :')  Thanks to the collective efforts of Andy, Sam and Genevieve, Caroline was the one that went home last week, which was a bit of a shocker for me - I had her at 4th out of 8 in terms of viable edits, but I did predict correctly that there was an off chance she'd go home if something crazy happened.  Now, going into the finale (or semifinal?), it's a lot harder to figure out where things are going to go for these guys, but I'll update my lists and see where things stand.  #1. *Jeff voice* Alright. It's been a week. Thanks to a certain chaotic gremlin (Rome), the entire Survivor community has been thrown into a tizzy. Spoilers are a-flying, and I was among the poor unfortunate souls who had to see the alleged boot list, including the supposed winner of the season. Now, did that throw me for a loop for a few days? Absolutely. But, the harder I thought about it, the more it seemed like something wasn't adding up.
